The Seattle Art Museum in Review

Popularly called SAM, the Seattle Art Museum can be found in Seattle, Washington. It has a humble beginning from being an Art Deco in a simple building provided by Richard and Margaret Fuller on June 23, 1933. Come 2006, expansion of the Seattle Art Museum for its 1991 Venturi building location happened. The reworked museum now occupies the first four floors of the building. It consists of 70 percent gallery, a museum store and a new restaurant. The SAM has art displays valuing over a billion dollars.

Seattle Art Museum Programs

Seattle Art Museum provides educational programs and exhibitions which can be used by schools and teachers. The School and Teachers Programs provided by SAM which can be done both directly from the museum and in the comfort of the classroom would help both teachers and students in understanding and learning a variety of art programs. The School Programs of SAM offers guided tours and workshops for students; classroom based trainings, as well as programs for educators. SAM provides program updates of programs throughout the year.
