The museum is dedicated to the brilliant work of artist from the Northwest.

The museum's new facility, designed by architect Stephen Holl, has 5,800 square feet of gallery space on three floors, plus an art school, studio space for visiting artists, and the interactive Explore Gallery.

It also strives to explore national and international influences on local art. The three stories museum also features an exhibition of renowned Japanese artists. It showcases certain traditional objects such as kimonos and textiles.

It hosts the Bellevue Art and Craft Fair which is one of the main events in the Northwest. The festival features juried artist booths, art demonstrations, an award- winning Kidsfair, exclusive Patron Party, rousing live entertainment and delicious foods.

Bellevue Arts Museum offers a wide range of programs for a diverse audience. Lectures, workshops, demonstrations and special events are planned in conjunction with the exhibitions
