Washington Serpentarium is a museum of creepy crawlies reptiles. You can see them all here from gigantic anacondas to little frogs and lizards.

It is located on Highway 2, at 22715- B SR2, 98272, 1 mile east of the city of Monroe. The Washington Serpentarium is one of the most comprehensive collections of reptiles on the West coast.

Venomous snakes have been rendered harmless by being surgically devenomized. Children can even play with them. The Party room at the zoo is available for birthday parties.

There are varieties of Venomous snakes, Non- Venomous snakes, Lizards and frogs, Invertebrates, Crocodilians and Turtles. Several types of reptiles slither in the "petting zoo," while more dangerous varieties are protected from direct contact.

The serpentarium boasts, among other things, of the 10 deadliest snakes in the world (venom removed), monitor lizards, the pink pig- nosed Florida soft- shell turtle, an American alligator, and an enormous alligator snapping turtle

    Others my find this to be creepy but I find this educational and entertaining. Its just so nice seeing all these creatures upclose and harm less. Even my kid enjoyed the tour at serpentarium. nofollow
