Environment plays a prominent role in shaping the community. This festival teaches the importance of conserving the environment through arts like music, dance and conservation projects.

You can go out and have a gala time frolicking in the lap of nature and enjoying the glorious woods.

The festival is just around the corner. This program provides free environmental ~ art courses to youth living in public housing communities throughout King County. They are also now offering classes in their new home at Youngstown.

This is a 2- day festival teaching environmental lessons through the creative arts: music, dance, theatre, an outdoor "museum of sound", environmental education and kids activities.

This multidisciplinary event is produced by the Nature Consortium and is nestled in the forested arms of Camp Long, as well as at the newly renovated Youngstown Cultural Arts Center.

They produce a Youth Art Program, an Urban Forest Restoration Project and the Arts~in~Nature Festival.
