Firefly

Firefly is located in downtown Washington DC's DuPont Circle neighborhood. The place is simply astonishing and an ideal dinning place for locals and visitors alike. Though the restaurant is small, but the food is quite good. Whether you are a vegetarian or a non vegetarian the place is ideal dinning experience for you. You can select anything from roasted chicken with sweet corn gratin, shiitake mushroom sauce and spinach, streak fries with shallot butter and red wine sauce.

During the day, Firefly's dining room is sunny and comfortable, ideal for a meal with colleagues or a business lunch. The roasted turkey breast, brie and mango sandwich goes over well. Though the price might seem steep, the truffle Parmesan frits are a Firefly signature. At dinner you can start with house- cured salmon Carpaccio served with a cake of roasted beets, or mussels steamed with Dominion Lager. Other options include red snapper with cranberry beans or grilled salmon.

Brunch: Sunday, 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Lunch: Monday - Friday, 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Dinner: Monday - Thursday, 5:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.; Friday - 5:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.; Saturday - 5:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.; Sunday - 5:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
