Palace Kitchen

This Italian restaurant provides a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. Its unique décor with a horseshoe bar, sparkling Italian chandeliers, glossy velvet drapes, ornate mirrors and a beautiful painting simply takes your breath away.

Palace Kitchen was nominated for Best New Restaurant in 1996 by James Beard Foundation.

The bar buzzes with action. It has plain wood booths and stark tables. Large windows allow you a view of the city. The restaurant is owned by a former football player Tom Douglas.

Entrées include pan- roasted quail, sheep's milk ricotta ravioli, and Sara Joe's organic pork loin, served with sautéed greens and mustard fruits. If you're so inclined, opt for something straight off Douglas's famous apple wood grill.

They also host parties and events for small gatherings.

Hours: Serving full menu from 5pm - 1am, seven nights a week with cocktails until 2am.
Monday through Friday the bar opens at 4:30 pm to 1 am
