Who are the Seattle Mariners?

They are an American Football team from Seattle, Washington. The Seattle Mariners are members of the Major League Baseball on their Western Division. Popularly called "the M's", they got their Mariners name due to the abundance of marine culture in Seattle. They wear they navy blue, teal and metallic silver uniform during their games. Early fans of the team knew that their uniform used to be a combination of gold and royal blue dating back from 1977 to 1992. The Mariners got their major success in 1995 when they defeated the New York Yankees on the American League Division Series.

The Safeco Field

Widely called The Safe; the Safeco field is the home court of the Seattle Mariners. The construction of the stadium was over $517M and was officially opened last July 15, 1999. This stadium owned by the Washington-King County Stadium Authority has a retractable roof and can set 47,116 people. Highlight of the stadium was during the time it hosted the 2001 Major League Baseball All Star Game as well as a record of 54,097 attendances in 2003 when it was used for the WWE WrestleMania XIX.
