Getting to know the Seattle Seahawks
Professional American Football team from Seattle, the Seattle Seahawks is a member of National Football League and National Conference. They got their official name Seattle Seahawks on June 17, 1975 which was the winning name out of 20,000 entries from a contest held. They became a member of the NFL in the year 1976. Known to be the only team to play for AFC and NFC championship games, they had one Super Bowl appearance for the Super Bowl XL losing the game with Pittsburgh Steelers.

They also have the Sea Gals Show Group that perform overseas and participate in different NFL events. Other than performing a variety of dance and cheering routines during their games, they are also responsible to uphold a good image of the Seattle Seahawks organization.
