This is one of the best places to go to in Seattle. Since it opened in 1983, it has given high quality, hand crafted ales to the North.

The brain child of Mike Hale, it is housed in a famed Industrial Hose Manufacturing Plant. When Mike Hale, founder and president of Hale's Ales, made the statement "The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing," he meant it and lived up to it.

The pub itself can seat 125 customers. It has produced a wide variety of innovative English style Ales for beer lovers of the Northwest. Among those has been the first Pale Ale, Amber Ale, Seasonal Ale and of course their introduction of nitrogen conditioned Ales including their Cream Ale, Hale's Special Bitter, and Stout.

It is located within the brewery, just north of downtown Seattle on Leary Way between the Fremont and Ballard Districts. It can host special events like corporate gatherings and parties.

Monday - Thursday 11 am - 10 pm.
Friday: 11 am - 11 pm.
Saturday 9 am - 11 pm ; Sunday 9 am – 10pm.
