Kubota Gardens

It is an enchanting garden of hills and valleys which completely captivate you. It has an abundance of water features like streams, waterfalls, ponds, lakes and rock out cropping.

This garden owes its existence to the efforts of the Japanese Kubota family. As their business prospered, the garden grew.

The family was very generous in sharing access to the garden, and for many years it was a center for social and cultural activities for the Japanese community in Seattle.

The Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation permits weddings and other events to be held at the garden. For further information regarding scheduling and fees refer to Wedding and Tour page or call 206- 684- 4081.

It sells unique plant varieties at bargain prices, featuring plants similar to those found in the Kubota Garden and suitable for any size garden. This is a great opportunity to improve your garden.
