Seattle Art Museum celebrates the glory of American, African and Asian art.

Each gallery is dedicated to a specific exhibit. Along with the wealth of art available for perusing, visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy regularly- scheduled lectures, classes, and live performances.

The collections of the Seattle Art Museum number approximately 23,000 objects in the following active collecting areas: African art, American art, Ancient Mediterranean and Islamic Art, Asian art, Decorative Arts, European art, Modern and Contemporary art, Native and Meso- American art, and Oceanic and Aboriginal art.

The museum shop gives you merchandise related to the special exhibits.

They offer tours, outreach programs, workshops, events and classroom resources. Download free lesson plans, explore online activities or use the Wyckoff Teacher Resource Center's searchable database.

Tue- Wed and Fri- Sun 10am- 5pm, Thu 10am- 9pm; Cafe Tue- Wed 10am- 4:30pm, Thu 9am- 8pm, Fri- Sun 9am- 7pm
