Underground Tour (The)

Discover the fascinating history of Seattle through a leisurely guided walking tour. It is history with a difference.

The guides keep you entertained by narrating juicy tit bits about pioneers. The tour takes you through a labyrinth of winding underground passages that were once the main road ways of old downtown Seattle.

The tour begins at Doc Maynard's Public House a restored 1890s salon. The Underground terrain is a ragged path with flights of stairs and lighting.

The tour ends in the Rogue's Gallery which boasts of a gallery of the most colorful and interesting characters from Seattle's past.

Underground Cafe, featuring Angus burgers, halibut and chips, sandwiches, soups, salads and snacks. The tour is offered on a first- come, first- serve basis. They recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes before the tour to purchase your tickets.
